INNOTRANS: British Steel will be showcasing its premium range of smart rail products designed to offer a longer infrastructure life and reduced maintenance requirements.
Amongst the products on display will be:
- high-performance rail: non-heat-treated rail offering improved protection against wear, rolling contact fatigue and plastic deformation;
- Zinoco durable coated rail for corrosion resistance in aggressive environments such as coastal areas, wet tunnels and level crossings;
- steel sleepers to help reduce track construction and renewal costs through lower ballast requirements, quicker installation times and ease of transport.
The company will also be presenting its rails for overhead gantry and floor-mounted cranes in ports, warehouses and shipyards.
