INDIA: Bombardier Transportation has opened an information services hub at Gurgaon in the Delhi National Capital region.
The new facility will work with the existing hubs in Canada and Germany to form an integrated team serving Bombardier Transportation locations across the world.
Bombardier Transportation aims to ‘leverage the available local expertise to bridge the gap between outsourcing and building internal competency’, said Thomas Leidenbach, Vice-President, Information Services Infrastructure. ‘This office will give us proximity to our IS supplier base, grow core competencies internally, and support our presence and growth in Asia.’
