ALSTOM: Alstom has joined The Valuable 500 not-for-profit network of CEOs committed to ensuring that disability inclusion features prominently in their leadership agendas.
Alstom has committed to increasing the number of employees with disabilities, saying it will pay particular attention to challenging misconceptions about disability and employment, providing the skills and tools needed to recruit and retain people, creating the conditions for a more inclusive work environment, and minimising the impact that an individual’s impairment may have.
‘Including people with disabilities in the workplace is not only the right thing to do, it also helps Alstom create better solutions for customers and passengers around the world’, said Anne-Sophie Chauveau-Galas, Senior Vice-President for Human Resources. ‘Developing more inclusive products and services, as well as ensuring that our workforce reflects the diversity of passengers, leads to better outcomes for everyone.’
