SPAIN: RENFE’s technology and logistics services business LogiRAIL has awarded DXC Technology a US$6m contract to modernise its IT infrastructure and create a centre of competence for cloud technologies.
The project includes transferring the national operator’s critical IT platforms, operating systems, databases and applications to a cloud environment to make them easier to manage and deploy.
One of the first applications to be deployed will be an operational dashboard which will provide RENFE managers with real-time passenger and freight data.
