SWITZERLAND: Coupler and buffer manufacturer Schwab Verkehrstechnik has been acquired by Faiveley Transport. The Schaffhausen-based company has 42 employees and recorded sales of SFr23m in 2012.

Faiveley Transport Group CEO Thierry Barel said 'both companies will benefit from significant new opportunities, an enlarged product range and complementary customer bases.'
