Wabtec Corp has signed a bank agreement with a 23-bank group. This includes a US$1·2bn five-year revolving credit facility to replace the previous US$800m facility, and a US$400m term loan with a three-year maturity. The agreement ‘provides financing for our planned acquisition of Faiveley Transport, which we expect to close in the fourth quarter, and for continued investment in Wabtec’s global growth initiatives, including other acquisitions’, said CFO Patrick D Dugan on June 23.
