Sweden formally ratified the Luxembourg Rail Protocol at a ceremony at the UNIDROIT offices in Roma on July 2. Sweden is the third state to ratify; at least four are required before the protocol can enter into force.

Munnelly Group has acquired UK rail site access control and reporting services company MacRail Systems from Ian and Erica McFetridge for an undisclosed price. 'Being part of the Munnelly Group plc will allow us to further develop the MacRail brand and service and enhance the industry’s ability to monitor and manage on-site personnel', said CEO Phil Munnelly. Law firm DWF advised Munnelly Group on the deal.
