Lacroix has obtained IRIS certification ISO/TS 22163 for its range of passenger information displays, manufactured at the group’s Spanish plant in Alcobendas. ‘We continued working on product life-cycle management, traceability and reduction of obsolescence, among other things’, said the French company’s Quality Director Jean Marc Tychyj. ‘We also went further in terms of training and monitoring our employees’ in-house skills, in order to offer our customers products at the cutting edge of innovation along with impeccable service.’

Pandrol has launched an improved aluminothermic welding process that it says is easy to use, creates longer-lasting, higher-performance welds than standard processes, and is fully compatible with its existing product range. The EN 14730-1 certified process can be used on 25 mm gaps with a tolerance of ± 2 mm, with a three-piece mould that eliminates discontinuity under the rail foot. Pandrol claims a 20% overall improvement in the resilience of the resulting welds under slow bending tests compared to standard processes.

Keolis has agreed a €600m five-year syndicated loan indexed to sustainable development indicators with a consortium of 14 banks. The proceedes will be used to refinance existing credit lines.
Knorr-Bremse has finalised its first syndicated loan. The €750m load has a term of five years and can be extended by one year twice. This financing is tied to an ESG rating by ISS Corporate Solution which is currently C+, with changes affecting the loan spread. The transaction was co-ordinated by Deutsche Bank and UniCredit.
