Wabtec has acquired Collins Aerospace’s ARINC rail business segment, which provides dispatching, back-office, cybersecurity and life-cycle management systems in the USA and Canada. ‘Our combined technologies will optimise the rail network and deliver a rail ecosystem with increased productivity, efficiency and safety’, said Nalin Jain, President of Wabtec’s Digital Electronics business, on June 16.
Škoda Transportation Group has announced ‘solid financial results’ for 2021, with consolidated net income of €22·6m, EBITDA up 178% to €41·3m and a 41% year-on-year increase in sales to €604·4m.
