USA: The US subsidiary of Finnish lighting system manufacturer Teknoware has acquired railway interior and exterior lighting and destination sign supplier Trans-Lite Inc from the family which founded the business.
'The transaction will support Teknoware's strategy of expanding to new regions and growing its global product portfolio' said Kai Kauto, Managing Director of Teknoware Oy. 'Trans-Lite will give us a significant position in the North American market as well as new product families, such as exterior lighting systems and train destination signs, for our other markets. Our intention is to continue developing and growing the company further and expanding the markets'.
