NETHERLANDS: Amsterdam public transport operator GVB Activa announced on September 12 that it had selected CAF as preferred bidder to supply 63 trams. The contract includes options for up to 60 additional vehicles.
The bidirectional low-floor trams are intended to replace older vehicles and expand the fleet. Deliveries are due between the second half of 2019 and 2022.
