GERMANY: DB Netz has approved the national roll-out of 800 Strukton data loggers to monitor more than 12 500 point machines, following a successful pilot programme which involved 100 data loggers on 1 000 point machines.
The data loggers were developed by Strukton in co-operation with DB Netz and are based on the POSS monitoring system architecture. They are compatible with the DIR-ACS sensors developed by DB Netz to measure the control current, and support the OPC-UA standard for open communication with DB Netz’s DIANA monitoring and analysis platform.
