UKRAINE: Kyiv’s first Fokstrot tram has entered regular passenger service on fast tram route 3, with Mayor Vitali Klitschko joining passengers for the inaugural trip.
Earlier this year tram operator Kyivpastrans selected Pesa to supply 10 low-floor trams for €11·5m. The next is due to be delivered in November.
The three-section trams are 26 m long and are equipped with air-conditioning, a passenger information system and USB sockets.
