LUXEMBOURG: CFL Multimodal subsidiary CFL Intermodal has expanded its fleet with an order for 50 Tatravagónka T3000 double pocket wagons for transporting semi-trailers.
The wagons are equipped with tracking sensors to enable the operator’s customers to be provided with real-time location data.
Announcing the fleet expansion on August 27, CFL Multimodal said its investment in wagons and digital technology would support the development of new services from the Bettembourg-Dudelange intermodal terminal to destinations in central and northern Europe, and strengthen its existing services to Lyon, Nancy, Paris, Antwerpen, Zeebrugge, Trieste, Kiel and Poznań.
