DENMARK: Fehmarn Belt fixed link project promoter Femern A/S has prequalified companies to tender for two framework agreements covering the provision of consulting services.
The client consulting contract includes assistance in relation to potential claims from contractors during and following the construction phase. The prequalified companies are:
- CH2M Hill (UK), with sub-consultants NIRAS A/S (Denmark), Dr tech Olav Olsen AS (Norway), and Sellhorn Ingenieurgesellschaft mbh (Germany);
- Rambøll-Arup-TEC Joint Venture (Denmark, UK, Netherlands), with sub-consultants WTM Engineers GmbH (Germany), and Schønherr A/S (Denmark);
- Sweco Danmark A/S (Denmark), with sub-consultants Sweco Nederland BV (Netherlands), and Mott MacDonald Ltd (UK);
- ÅF Infrastructure AB (Sweden).
The in-house consulting services framework contract primarily covers the provision of consultants for the technical division of Femern A/S, working for varying periods on an ad hoc basis. This includes quality assurance for technical services provided by other consultants. The prequalified companies are:
- CH2M Hill (UK) with sub-consultants NIRAS A/S (Denmark), Dr tech Olav Olsen AS (Norway), and Sellhorn Ingenieurgesellschaft mbh (Germany);
- EKJ-ILF-GEO (Denmark, Austria);
- Rambøll-Arup-TEC Joint Venture (Denmark, UK, Netherlands) with sub-consultant WTM Engineers GmbH (Germany);
- Sweco Danmark A/S (Denmark);
- ÅF - Hansen & Henneberg A/S (Denmark) with sub-consultant ÅF Infrastructure AB (Sweden).
The four main construction contracts for the 18 km immersed tunnel between Denmark and Germany were signed by Femern A/S and its preferred bidders on May 30.
