Perpetuum says its third appearance at InnoTrans will be its biggest yet.

PERPETUUM: Remote Conditioning Monitoring specialty Perpetuum says its third appearance at InnoTrans will be its biggest yet, reflecting the company’s rapid growth and contract wins in Australia, Sweden the UK and USA as more train operators adopt remote condition monitoring.

‘We will be demonstrating how our wireless and self-powered solution has made connected bogies and smart wheelsets a reality’, explains Commercial Director Justin Southcombe. ‘The business case for remote condition monitoring is compelling: lower maintenance costs and increased availability means it has been adopted by train operators across the globe.

‘At InnoTrans 2016, I would estimate that 30% of companies were talking about the impact of digitisation in the rail industry. At InnoTrans 2018 I expect it to be twice that. Digital is no longer just an option, but a necessity’.
