Visitors will be able to see more than 100 vehicles in the outdoor display area.

Siemens Mobility Mireo Plus H roll out

Siemens Mobility and Deutsche Bahn will be presenting the H2goesRail project and the Mireo Plus H hydrogen fuel cell-powered multiple-unit. Stadler will be showing seven vehicles, and Slovakian wagon manufacturer Tatravagónka six.

DB Regio’s Ideenzug City innovation train will present 12 ‘theme worlds’, with automatically configurable seating and standing room, a flexible space concept, interactive windows and e-Scooter holders.

‘In view of the difficult overall conditions and latest developments, we did not expect bookings to be this high’, said InnoTrans director Kerstin Schulz. ‘Everyone taking part is looking forward all the more to meeting in person. InnoTrans is the world’s largest platform for the mobility sector, with a market coverage that is second to none.’

  • Railway Gazette is the only official international media partner for InnoTrans, which will take place in Berlin from September 20 to 23 2022.
