STRUKTON: Strukton Rail is to use InnoTrans 2018 to unveil automatic video recognition technology which can identify potential tracks defects before they occur.
This is being developed by combining Strukton’s video monitoring and specialist track expertise with Siemens' Railigent data analytics technology.
‘The Railigent application suite enables Strukton Rail to combine desired architectures and artificial intelligence tools with proven best practices to realise an evolutionary approach of smart maintenance’, said Jacob Zeeman, CEO of Strukton Rail Nederland. ‘This will help our customers worldwide to prevent failures, plan maintenance activities, reduce cost and improve availability of tracks.’
