INNOTRANS: A dedicated Tunnel Construction area will once again feature at InnoTrans 2016, showcasing underground communication, fire protection and security technologies as well as tunnel construction products.
Companies including Herrenknecht, Talleres Zitrón, Pöyry and Niedax have booked places, and will be displaying new tunnelling equipment.
Swiss tunnel cleaning firm Brügger HTB has recently won a contract for the Gotthard base tunnel, and plans to exhbit a specially developed track cleaning system at InnoTrans 2016. Company co-owner Beat Brügger said InnoTrans ‘has a reputation as an outstanding platform for setting up business partnerships and introducing new products onto the market’.
German underground transport research association STUVA will be organising an International Tunnel Forum, providing the opportunity to discuss the latest ideas in the construction and operation of tunnels.
