UAE: Dubai’s Roads & Transport Authority has called tenders for two metro extensions.
The Green Line extension would be 20·6 km long with 11 stations, crossing the Creek to serve the Creek Harbour development and the continuing to Academic City.
The Red Line extension with one station would run for 3·5 km from the Centrepoint bus interchange past Rashidiya depot and along Highway 311 to serve the City Centre Mirdif shopping centre.
