UKRAINE: Kyiv metro has signed a contract with Transmashholding subsidiary Metrowagonmash for eight five-car trainsets, it was announced on July 12. The contract value was not disclosed.
The 81-717.5М and 81-714.5М cars will be delivered by the end of the year. The interior will feature fire-resistant materials and fluorescent lighting.
Around half of the cars currently in operation on the Kyiv metro are made by Metrowagonmash.
