SAFETY in a variety of forms will be the focus of engineering consultancy Movares, whose Dutch, German and Polish branches will be exhibiting jointly.
Topics to be highlighted will include risk and safety management. The company’s involvement with ERTMS will be covered in detail, along with 25 kV electrification in the Netherlands.
Movares will be highlighting Icesolution, which uses geothermal energy to heat points (RG 3.05 p166). It is now in service in the Netherlands, and pilot projects are underway in Germany and Spain. Also on show will be SimPed, a computer model for simulating the behaviour of pedestrians in public areas.
H Sharing the stand will be Railcert, the notified body which is a joint venture of Movares Nederland and TÜV Süddeutschland.
