STRATFORD and Ebbsfleet International stations on Section 2 of the Channel Tunnel Rail Link are being fitted with CCTV cameras and associated equipment from Bosch Security Systems.
Bosch has previously supplied cameras to London Underground for use in the particularly demanding station environment. ’Our cameras, domes and video matrix products have had to undergo rigorous vibration and shock testing, as well as tests to see how they perform under extreme environmental conditions’, said Lindsay Brennwald. ’All passed these trials, including EMC compatibility and even the toxicity of the plastics used in their manufacture.’H NMI Security is supplying 360í IPIX digital CCTV cameras to Stockholm metro. Images are distributed by an IP network, allowing multiple users to access the pictures simultaneously.
