UNLIKE most similar machines, the T10000FS and T4300FS rail loaders from Colmar are specially designed for railway maintenance, rather than converted from vehicles designed for other applications.
In particular, they are suitable for use while trains are passing on adjacent tracks, and they can operate in tunnels and other restricted spaces.
The T4300FS (photo) features an extendable rear counterweight which can increase lifting capacity by 20%, and the 30 tonne T10000FS is able to lift up to 15 tonnes. Both vehicles feature extendable dipper arms, a heated two-seat cab and a complete range of lifting, excavating and maintenance accessories.
