'A PROJECT in the European market' was the first transaction announced by the Stephenson Capital rail investment fund which has been established by DVB Bank AG. The fund concentrates primarily on principal investments in rail assets in Europe and North America.
Martin Metz, Global Head of the Land Transport division of Frankfurt-based DVB, said the investment fund enables the bank to 'offer our Land Transport clients an equity finance alternative for their rail investment projects. The fund creates an efficient platform to work with our clients on a complementary basis, and also allows a perfect opportunity to align this approach to the bank's existing services comprised of lending, arrangement of complex financing transactions and financial advisory solutions for rolling stock investments.'
DVB Investment Management also manages aviation, shipping and intermodal funds.
