ALSTOM will be focusing on the ’quality of life on board’, and the environmental credentials of its trains.
The rolling stock manufacturer will be showcasing the role of new materials, colours, lighting and ergonomics in its current and future train designs. Alstom will also be highlighting the integration of environmental considerations into the whole life-cycle of a train. As well as looking at the environmental impact of every aspect from manufacturing to recycling, Alstom will be highlighting efforts to cut noise and energy consumption. n
