PEOPLESAFE uses mobile telephone technology concealed within an identity badge to provide customer-facing staff with the means to contact a control centre without needing to use a conventional mobile phone.

As well as offering a panic button service, the control centre can record conversations for use when prosecuting abusive or violent passengers. A check-in function will raise an alarm if the member of staff has not reported to control within a specified period.

’PeopleSafe provides workers with the ability to raise the alarm and also record the incident without waving a mobile phone in the face of the assailant which invariably fans the flames, and allows them to resort to the law with evidence that is virtually impossible to get in any other way’, said RockSure Managing Director Ian Johannessen.
