Invensys Rail Systems Australia has integrated its Westinghouse Signals Australia and Foxboro Transportation brands under a common trading name, Westinghouse Rail Systems Australia. IRSA will also adopt the same name.
A New Zealand subsidiary of rail consultancy Interfleet Technology will begin trading from an office in Wellington this month.
Skoda Transportation has signed an accord to set up a rolling stock production joint venture with Polish company Zaklady Naprawcze Taboru Kolejowego. It plans to produce EMUs and trams for the Polish market, using bogies and traction equipment supplied from the Czech Republic.
