Alstom Transport announced on May 6 that it had acquired the rights to the Innorail surface-contact power supply technology developed for the Bordeaux light rail network by SPIE Industries.
CAF has reported a pre-tax profit of €12·6m for 2002, up 1% from 2001, with turnover up 1·1% at €392·5m. The rolling stock builder’s order book stood at €1·4bn at the end of 2002, up 10·7%, with 66% of orders from outside its Spanish home market.
Locomotive lessor Locomotion Capital has changed its name to Angel Trains Cargo. Vossloh remains a 10% shareholder.
