RUSSIA: Two Moscow universities signed co-operation agreements in December, with Bombardier Transportation and Russian Railways respectively.
Bombardier and Moscow State University of Railway Engineering have embarked on a three-year partnership to support ‘future exchange in areas including science, innovation and development of railway transportation systems’. Specific objectives cover collaboration in training technical specialists and academics.
Meanwhile, RZD has reached a similar agreement with the Economics Faculty of Moscow State University, paving the way for a series of joint research initiatives and academic events to ‘improve the quality of training and specialisation’ of RZD’s graduates and employees.
