DB AutoZug is to offer users of its motorail service a money- back guarantee. The trains are being equipped with refurbished sleeping cars, with new bogies, quieter disk brakes and air-conditioning, and if facilities on the refurbished trains are not functioning or unavailable, passengers can claim a travel voucher.
When the summer timetable comes into effect in May, DB AutoZug will revise its services to south and west France, extending the period of operation of the Hildesheim - Bordeaux service, but dropping trains to Nantes. Faster timings will come into force on routes from Berlin to Avignon, Narbonne and Bordeaux.
