HÜBNER will be presenting its Varido-Rail G3 door drive. Lightweight construction and refinement of the design has produced a compact drive which is 20% lighter than comparable systems. Mechanical coupling simultaneously reduces the door closing speed and increases the closing force, making the doors easier to maintain.
The company will also be showcasing its experience with gangways, including its extensive refurbishment programme. Components are checked for safety, reliability and appearance, and renewed where needed. New bellows can be installed in existing connecting frames, a cheaper alternative to buying new gangways.
The Kassel-based firm will be presenting its UIC-compatible gangway as an alternative to rubber tube designs. The gangway offers sealing against pressure waves and draughts, as well as improved sound and thermal insulation.
