Tchas Ostrava and ZS Brno have begun a KC2·1bn modernisation of Bohumín station, to be completed in November 2005.
ÖBB took over Austria’s Postbus service with effect from September 15. Over the next year Postbus operations are to be integrated with the railway’s Bahnbus network.

Work has begun on a €210m expansion of interchange facilities on the north side of Amsterdam Centraal station, to be completed in 2010. The river bank is being moved 40m to accommodate a covered bus station, cycle lane and retail outlets.
