TRACKING the twists and turns of the world railway industry month after month remains a constant challenge. One publication that we find invaluable in this task is Railway Directory.
This month sees the publication of the 112th edition, with more than 4 000 entries covering railway, metro and light rail operators, infrastructure managers, as well as equipment suppliers, consultants and service providers. Also listed are statutory bodies responsible for transport policy, industry associations and key industry personnel. Compiled and edited for us by Chris Bushell, Railway Directory includes a full suite of geographical colour maps, covering all the world’s railways and many city rail networks. Railway Directory is also available online at www.railwaydirectory.net, which is updated weekly to reflect the latest changes to the industry.
