INTER-CAR jumper harnesses to carry passenger information and CCTV data between vehicles are being supplied to Transys Projects by AB Connectors.
Class 315 and 321 EMUs used by British operator One are being fitted with the specially-designed single harness jumpers, which offer cost savings over multiple-harness designs while allowing easy connection and uncoupling of vehicles. The harnesses are designed for vibration and corrosion resistance, and will not produce toxic fumes in a fire.
