WITH effect from July 6 Windhoff Bahn- & Anlagentechnik GmbH took over Archinger AG, a company specialising in the development of automated non-destructive testing processes for the railway, aerospace and nuclear power industries.
Archinger has supplied wheelset testing equipment to companies including German Railway and Austrian Federal Railways. The Nürnberg-based company will be fully integrated into Windhoff, as part of a strategy to make the Georgsmarienhütte Holding GmbH group subsidiary a single-source supplier of all railway wheelset testing and certification services.
