ADTRANZ Signal A/S of Denmark has completed the development of its Ebicos TMS traffic management software. Already sold to railways in Sweden, Portugal, India and Australia, a test version of the software is due to be up and running in Sweden this month.
Adtranz Signal has invested €25m in developing Ebicos TMS. The software is designed to be scalable, and can be applied to small or complex interlockings. Suitable for both local and remote control, it also includes algorithms for automatic route setting. However, operators can override this when necessary for train regulation.
