SERENA SOFTWARE has supplied railway monitoring, diagnostics and software firm Mer Mec with its Dimensions platform, which is being used to manage all projects across the company, reducing time to market and ensuring compliance with design regulations.
Head of Mer Mec’s Quality Department Francesco Muolo said Dimensions was adopted ’to unify the different types of management task and guarantee high standards of quality and efficiency in terms of flexibility and integration.’ Dimensions is in use across the company’s various sites, where it is being integrated with the existing project management processes, including the PlanView tool which generates reports on planning controls throughout the life-cycle of a project.
