Spain: RENFE has awarded Ferrovial Servicios a €252·8m contract to provide catering on high speed and long-distance services for four years from December 1, with a €126·4m option for a two-year extension. RENFE says demand for at-seat meal service has fallen by 25% over the last three years, and the new contract will reduce its annual outlay by 20%.
