SWITZERLAND: Swiss Federal Railways has worked with Google to provide more detailed coverage of Zürich Hauptbahnhof on Google Street View and Maps under a joint pilot project which aims to help passengers find their way around stations.
The individual floors and all retail facilities are identifiable and can be explored using Street View, enabling station users to plan their activities before visiting the station.
SBB stresses that only information needed for navigation is used, no data on its customers is being shared, and station users’ faces are blurred in the Street View images.
