NORWAY: State rolling stock leasing company Norske Tog has rolled out Trimble’s E2M asset and maintenance management system to manage the fleet of vehicles operated by SJ under the Lot 2 Nord operating contract.
This contract covers long-distance passenger services from Oslo to Trondheim and Bodø, as well as the Rørosbanen, Raumabanen, Trønderbanen, Meråkerbanen and Saltenpendelen regional services.
The E2M platform provides information on the status of maintenance and access to other key data, enabling NT to allocate and monitor maintenance work, update technical documentation, approve changes in maintenance programmes and receive maintenance history from the operator’s maintenance management systems through a series of Trimble-developed application interfaces.

Their technological experience in the field of implementing maintenance management systems for rolling stock, and their ability to understand our processes and to talk our language, have been key success factors.’
