SWEDEN: National transport agency Trafikverket has awarded Rosehill Rail and its local partner Lesanco a two-year contract for the supply of rubber anti-trespass panels for installation at platform ends and level crossings.
This follows trials during which CCTV monitoring showed that the number of unauthorised people accessing the tracks decreased by 38% when the panels were installed at test sites across Sweden.
‘Rosehill Rail’s anti-trespass panels are a proven physical and visual deterrent to trespassers attempting to access tracks or other prohibited areas’, said the manufacturer’s Export Manager Andrew Knight. ‘They are simple and quick to install, and can be easily removed and replaced during maintenance. They can also be used with existing crossing systems, and cut to fit around existing track infrastructure.’
