EUROPE: Leasing company Alpha Trains has ordered a further 15 Vectron MS electric locomotives from Siemens Mobility.
The latest order announced on September 22 has been placed within a November 2021 framework agreement and covers 200 km/h 6·4 MW locomotives.
It will increase the Alpha Trains fleet to 463 locomotives from a range of manufacturers, including more than 65 Vectrons.
