ITALY: Rail construction and maintenance company Costruzioni Linee Ferroviarie has ordered 10 Class 741.7 EffiShunter 1000 diesel locomotives from CZ Loko.
Two of these produced by rebuilding Class 740/742 locos will be supplied from the Czech Republic by the end of 2021, while the remaining eight will be modernised from ČKD-built Class 740 locos, 12 of which were acquired by CLF in 2002–10.
The locos will be powered by 1 000 kW CAT 3508C engines. Servicing and maintenance will be provided by CZ Loko Italia.
