Southeastern has announced an enhanced compensation package for passengers stranded on trains during severe disruption at Lewisham on March 2. ‘We’ll be doubling Delay Repay for all passengers caught up in disruption from Tuesday to Friday last week, and for passengers stranded for 2 h or more on trains on Friday, we’ll be giving them £100 or double Delay Repay, whichever is greater‘, the company said.

The Automatic Route Setting capable version of the TREsim Simulator for the Birmingham Proof House workstation has been successfully delivered to the West Midlands Signalling Centre in Saltley, Hitachi Information Control Systems Europe announced on March 7. This will allow Network Rail to train signallers ahead of commissioning of the TREsa ARS for Proof House at the end of May.
