UK: With six weeks left until the deadline for entries, companies across the UK rail sector still have time to upload their submissions for the 18 different categories which are up for contention at the 24th Rail Business Awards.
Celebrating achievements across all areas of the rail industry, the 24th Rail Business Awards to be presented in February 2022 will recognise the efforts of the industry in 2020-21 — a difficult year for the UK railway. The coronavirus pandemic has posed many challenges for the rail sector, but adversity has also produced many positive initiatives that deserve to be acknowledged.
Entries are due to close on September 24, so there’s still time to download an entry pack at www.railbusinessawards.com and get your submissions in as soon as possible.
Our independent judging panel is looking forward to reviewing a wide mix of entries highlighting the many people and projects that deliver improved performance and a better quality of service, as well as innovations to drive efficiency and reduce costs, contributing to the long-term sustainability of the UK rail sector.
As in past years, the 18 categories up for contention have been selected to cover all aspects of this wide-ranging sector, recognising people, technology and operations. This year there are no fewer than seven ‘people’ awards, including a new category for Wellbeing in Rail, supported by the cross-industry Rail Wellbeing Alliance.
