UK: HS2 Ltd has opened its 2021 graduate recruitment scheme, seeking 17 people to join a two-year programme with roles including project management, engineering, landscape architecture, commercial and communications.
Participants will experience at least four placement rotations within HS2 Ltd and its main works construction partners’ offices at various locations along the London – Birmingham first phase of the route.
HS2 Ltd received more than 1 000 applications for its 2020 programme, and decided to increase the intake from nine to 17 for the 2021 cohort. Demand is expected to be high, and students are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.
‘We’re committed to ensuring that HS2 leaves a learning legacy and our annual investment in apprentices and graduates helps us to achieve this’, said HS2 Ltd’s Future Talent Manager Karen Davis on December 21. ‘This is a fantastic opportunity for 17 talented graduates who will be given the opportunity to begin their career working on a truly historic and innovative project.’
Recruitment for the annual apprentice scheme is scheduled to open in February.
