UK: The Infrarail 2020 railway infrastructure trade fair has been rescheduled because of the coronavirus outbreak. It will now be co-located with the Railtex 2021 exhibition of railway equipment and services, which is due to be held at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham on May 11-13 2021.
Infrarail had been scheduled to take place at London’s Olympia on May 12-14 this year, but government advice and restrictions around travel and large gatherings have led organiser Mack Brooks Exhibitions to reschedule the event.
‘We believe the decision to co-locate Infrarail with next year’s Railtex exhibition with the help and support of our partners will allow us to maximise the potential of both events, uniting the whole rail industry’, said Managing Director Nicola Hamann on March 26.
