UK: A Boxing Day service is to be provided on part of the London Overground network for the first time this year, Transport for London announced on October 2.
On December 26 trains will run from Highbury & Islington to West Croydon and from Clapham Junction to Hackney Wick, where they will terminate because of Network Rail engineering work at Stratford. Off-peak fares will apply all day.
Transport for London’s Overground, Underground, tram, Docklands Light Railway and buses services will now operate 364 days a year, excluding only December 25.
