UK: One Big Circle is exhibiting at InnoTrans for the first time, demonstrating the safety, cost and time-saving benefits of its Automated Intelligent Video Review video capture and transmission system to an international audience in the Railway Industry Association’s UK Pavilion.
The Bristol-based company’s AIVR range comprises intelligent video capability including forward-facing, overhead and thermal imaging, and new AIVR Focus devices which captures footage of tracks or conductor rails from onboard trains.
The high-definition video data is automatically transmitted by 4G and made instantly accessible for secure online visual review.
AIVR can be integrated with a range of fault detection systems, or machine learning can be used to automatically detect assets and anomalies, allowing users to see what they need to see the most.
Users can locate, measure, annotate and analyse images whilst also carrying out planning, sighting and reporting. Information can be shared within and across teams.
One Big Circle says experience has shown that 1 h spent reviewing footage can avoid an 8 h site visit or cab ride, while also improving safety by reducing the need for ‘boots on the ballast’.
